I just acquired a Hallicrafters SB3 broadcast/SW receiver, and it is rather
cute and fun to play with. The LO seems to be quite a bit out, however.
Does anyone have a schematic to get me pointed in the right direction to
re-align this box? Would be much appreciated!

Intl. Radio and Computer has all the Fox Tango stuff still available.
The address and phone # slips my mind, but they are in Port Lucie Fla. so
telephone information should give you the phone number.
I bought the WARC band kit for my 101E and installed it. It worked
well. Good stuff.

Not quite. I purchased the FoxTango Newsletters. They are definitely
out of the 1974 newsletters. They claim that the 1975 is still
available but they still haven't sent it to me.

Could someone post or e-mail a list of the differences between the FT-757GX

IMHO buy one RS220 and one RS440 and tape
them back to back. At least you will be able
to understand the manual.....

Subject: Yaesu FIF-232 interface info
To: ham-equip@ucsd.edu
Hello All,
Can anyone tell me if the Yaesu FIF-232 interface uses or does
anything with the A.G.C. line on the C.A.T. output from their rigs ?
IE, does it do any kind of A/D conversion on the A.G.C. line that will allow
you to send the data up the RS232 interface to a computer.
Or does it just pretend it's not there.
Regards, Sean.

Subject: YAESU FT-2200 PROBLEM
To: ham-equip@ucsd.edu
To Yaesu FT-2200 owners,
I am having great difficulty in utilizing the auto-dial feature
that is listed on page 35 of the owners manual.
I have no problem entering my telephone number (7 digits) or
my speed dial number (3 digits).
The problem comes when I replay the stored digits. There is always
an EXTRA digit. I am therefore unable to excess our auto-patch using
the programmed auto-dail feature.
I and several other hams have entered and reentered numbers time and
time again with the same results. Regardless of the number of digits
entered, on replay there is always that extra digit.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in the auto-dail feature
of the FT-2200? Any help and/or suggestions will be appreciated.
Have a nice day. :-)
